Voice content, app, webApp and audio guide equipment from a single supplier
An audio guide works when everything is done well: the narration, the language, the technology and the equipment. If one piece fails, visitors notice. At Voices & Media Solutions we handle all of those pieces: voice content in any language, script translation, integration into an app or webApp, and physical audio guide and radio guide equipment. Our offer can be comprehensive or limited to a specific service or product.
From briefing to exhibition opening
- Initial briefing: defining languages, types of content and technology.
- Script adaptation: we work from existing content or help create the texts. An audio guide script is not the same as a museum panel.
- Translation: by native translators with experience in cultural content.
- Narration: recording with native speakers of each language, selected for the tone of the space.
- Post-production: editing, mastering and file preparation.
- Technology: integration into the app, webApp or physical equipment.
- Delivery and support: launch and ongoing support for content updates.
Three ways to access the content
- App for iOS and Android: visitors download before or during the visit. Includes maps, proximity notifications and offline access.
- WebApp by QR code: no download. Visitors scan the code or access via browser. Simpler to implement, no installation required.
- Physical equipment: audio guides and radio guides for museums that prefer to provide their own hardware. See the Equipment page for details.
Experience across different types of space
- Art and culture museums: narrations that contextualise the works without sounding like catalogue text.
- Historic monuments and fortresses: content with historical rigour and a tone suited to the space.
- Temporary exhibitions: fast production of content for openings with defined deadlines.
- Tourist routes: audio guides with GPS or QR code activation along the route.
- Cultural spaces and foundations: adapted to the identity of each institution.
Frequently Asked Questions about Solutions for Museums and Tourism
What is the difference between the app and the webApp for museums?
The app is downloaded by the visitor and allows more advanced features: proximity notifications via beacons, interactive maps and offline access. The webApp opens directly in the browser by QR code or browser address, with no installation. It is easier to implement and useful for visitors who do not want to install an application.
Can you update the content after launch?
Yes. The content management platform allows texts, audio and videos to be changed without the need for a new app version. For museums with temporary exhibitions, this flexibility is essential.
How many languages does the solution support?
There is no limit. For each language we produce the narration with a native speaker. Audio guide projects with four or more languages are common.
Does it also work for outdoor routes?
The app allows content to be activated by GPS, making it suitable for historic trails or nature routes. Other solutions such as equipment or webApps can be activated at points of interest by number or QR code.
